Karube Shrine
軽部神社かるべじんじゃ
A shrine said to have been founded in 1678, which gathered devotion as 'the breast deity' from a 'Tarachine cherry tree' once standing in its precincts. The City of Sōja explains that worshippers praying for safe birth and for breast milk dedicate many hand-made ema in the shape of breasts. A folk-belief site where bodily devotion and mass votive offerings remain vividly visible.
